CONVERSATION ON EVOLUTION

Well..we may be apes..but something! happened to change the brain in a big way???
I am thinking of something along these lines: Child who is albino; no family history,(I assume albinoism is genetic.) Now, what if in an ancestorial species...some "switch"
or click in a gene occurs? and a very different creature, say with added cranial lobes
or tools..extra legs or whatever...Is that "natural selection?" How could it be that?

Try that again?

Say a lower creature.."X" has a genetic flaw..& this flaw is passed onto an offspring. Say "Z" offspring possess new features, extra limbs...or is an hermaphrodite..both sexes in one (without the X-Y chromosone distinction.) Say, biotic potential now is a reality in this "Z" group. Is this!? what is called natural selection or what? else....

Evolution is a change of frequenciy of genes in a population. So, if there is a genetic
cause for any changes in anatomy and this leads to a higher reproductive success in the population with this mutation, then yes, it is evolution, natural selection!
